Story | Thomas Slack age 21 6'4" in height was reported missing after fighting in crete in 1941, later a news paper report in 1945 reports thomas as being a german POW. Before joining the army he was an ARP clerk with Boldon Council and was formerly in the south Shields office of Messrs, Newlands, Newlands and Patterson solicitors. Died in Sunderland 1992. His younger brother is in the RAF and sister is a nurse at Monkwearmouth Hospital.
