| Story | Captain in the Mercahnt Navy - Master of the S.S Polgen died 1941 aged 53. He was also Captain of the Lake Geneva which was bombed by 5 aeroplanes whilst at anchor in Alicante in 1939, one bomb tore open the side, whilst one of the aeroplanes crashed on the quayside setting fire to the ships bridge and jolly boat.
